HERE WeGo Pro allows users to configure a vehicle profile with information such as truck height, width, length, and weight. Based on this data, the solution can calculate routes while considering restrictions that apply to the specific vehicle.

Whenever an alternative route is available, this can help drivers avoid situations such as traveling on a road with an incompatible weight limit, approaching a bridge with insufficient clearance, or entering streets with specific truck restrictions.

The solution can also account for time-dependent restrictions, commercial vehicle speed limits, and certain restrictions related to the transportation of hazardous materials.

HERE WeGo Pro allows maps to be downloaded in advance for offline navigation. If connectivity is lost during a trip and the required maps have already been downloaded, the application can automatically switch to offline mode and continue providing navigation.

Once connectivity is restored, online navigation can resume.

This capability is particularly relevant for operations traveling through areas where network coverage may be inconsistent.

Integration with the HERE ecosystem

HERE WeGo Pro can also be part of a broader logistics optimization strategy.

The solution can complement other HERE technologies, such as HERE Tour Planning, designed for planning and optimizing multi-stop routes, and HERE Tracking, which can add asset visibility capabilities.
